BURNING:

The Town of Castle Rock follows the Wisconsin DNR guidelines for burning and trusts that you consider drought and wind conditions before lighting a match. FIREWORKS:

No person may possess or use fireworks in Grant County without a fireworks user permit from the mayor of the city, president of the village or chairperson of the town in which the possession or use is to occur or from an official or employee of that municipality designated by the mayor, president, or chairperson. (Grant County General Legislation, Chapter 140-3).

The Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to approve/deny fireworks permits based on current weather conditions. Please contact Brian Johnsrud, Chairman, to obtain a permit.

BUILDING PERMITS:

The Town of Castle Rock has adopted the Uniform Dwelling Code Chs. Comm 20-25 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code.

Building projects valued at $10,000 or more require a building permit.
